Behind the magazines

Print runs, mentors & launch days

Two magazines, 4,000 printed copies and every step between the pitch and the pickup.

It started with high school yearbook, as co-editor-in-chief, the first time I held the physical product of something I’d helped build. In college that became Tusk Magazine, where as Creative Director and Marketing Director I guided the 26th edition’s creative vision, coordinated shoots, designed a set for every feature and ran the launch campaign, then ProComm Magazine, where as Managing Editor and Photo Director I led the College of Communications’ second edition from concept through publication, shot its Times Square cover and coordinated distribution of 2,000 printed copies.

Behind every issue: loading the print run, the mentorship of adviser Marie Loggia-Kee and launch day, when the issue is finally in people’s hands.

Modeling & appearances

Most days I’m behind the camera, but I love any reason to step in front of it: modeling for the CSUF Career Center, dressing up for a premiere screening and styling and starring in my own themed shoots.

Representing the CSUF Career Center as a model, paired with Nylah, a freshman business major. It felt full-circle, sharing a little advice as a graduating senior in between shots.
