It still hasn’t hit me yet, but on May 20, 2026 I, Gregory Ferraro, am graduating from
@csufofficial with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications: Journalism, a Philosophy minor, a Business: Entertainment and Hospitality minor and a Digital Media Certificate. The wild part is realizing how many corners of campus shaped my journey, from
@csuf_hss to
@csufbusiness to
@csufcommdept, each added something different to the way I work.
Throughout my time on campus I served as Managing Editor and Photo Director of
@procommcsuf, Creative Director of
@tuskmagazine, PR Chair and Communications Director of
@rotaractcsuf, a Panelist and Presenter for
@csufcommweek, a Business Journalism Intern at Insurance and Claims Journals, a Staff Writer, Contributor and Photographer for
@thedailytitan, the Technical Director for CSUF News and a Talk Show Co-Host and DJ for
@titanradio.
My work in Tusk brought me the opportunity to represent CSUF at the
@collegemedia Conference in NYC and led me to be selected to return as the head of the newsroom by the Adviser
@louisabacio showcasing the world of
@commcsuf and
@csufcommdept throughout ProComm’s second release. My reporting work and wide coverage has built strong relationships including with the Dean of the College
@jasonmshepard,
@fullertonmuseum,
@grandcentralart,
@aquariumpacific,
@csufthtrdance,
@csufcota,
@csufmusicaltheatre,
@boflte,
@asicsuf,
@csufprssa,
@csuf_dss and
@csufspeechclinic. My work with Rotaract has also connected me with
@radiant_futures,
@pathwaysofhopeoc,
@ocunitednpo,
@salvationarmythriftstoreuswest,
@cardzforkidzcsuf,
@pact.csuf and
@csuf.hopefull where I have gotten to share the stories and document the real impact of community service on and off campus.
Grounded by the work I’ve done and the people and programs I’ve been able to learn from, I’m stepping into what’s ahead with focus, direction and a commitment to keep creating.
