Photography

An extension of reporting: paying close enough attention that a moment holds still long enough to be understood.

The work spans registers. Documentary coverage asks for restraint. Editorial and portrait work is built collaboratively, whether that means directing a magazine cover or walking a graduate through the places that shaped them. Every shoot and every event below has its own row: slide through it, click any frame to see it large or open the full shoot.

Weddings

From the morning of to the last dance

Every detail mattered to someone.

I photographed this October wedding from the bride’s and the groom’s mornings to the last song of the night, covering the ceremony from every corner of the courtyard, from the aisle to the balconies above. For GF Creative House, I also helped organize the day and served as master of ceremonies, which gave me a rare view of how much care goes into a celebration like this, and how much every person there meant to the two of them.

Antonio Palomo’s artist space

A photo story I designed as a carousel: a first look at Antonio Palomo’s upcoming artist space and lounge in Orange, California.

Antonio Palomo’s upcoming artist space and lounge in Orange, California is already taking shape with character, creativity and a clear sense of community-driven direction. Seeing the work in progress and hearing the meaning behind each piece added so much to the visit.

Palomo’s new collage work will be on view at @grandcentralart starting June 6 for guests to see and experience.

More updates are on the way as the artist space and exhibit continues to come together, so stay tuned for what’s next!

Portraits & sessions

Graduation, portrait & creative editorial

A session should feel calm, intentional and personal.

Graduation, portrait and creative editorial sessions. It’s your moment to slow down and take in the places that shaped you, while I focus on creating clean, natural images that feel true to who you are. We walk the campus or the location, hit your favorite spots and build a mix of classic portraits and creative, editorial frames that actually feel like you. Nothing forced, nothing overly posed.

Pricing is straightforward: sessions start at a baseline, with plenty of room to scale: additional locations, multiple people, a creative concept or anything to fit your vibe.

Now shooting: a Halloween self-portrait series for i-candy zine.

I joined i-candy as a layout designer for the debut issue, but I couldn’t help doing a little bit more. For Halloween I’m creating a completely styled, curated and idealized costume, photographing it as a self-portrait series and writing an article to go with it.

It’s the next chapter of something I’ve done for years: every Halloween becomes a styled character study, from Hades and American Psycho to Murder House and Elvis.
